The EpiCoaching Model

We know that reality is the result of a transformation that passes through us and that tells about us, about who we are intimately, and what we can leave to others in terms of value, service, inspiration. At EpiCoaching Academy we know that each of us creates reality based on who s/he is.

Everything around us has the same mission. And when we understand this, what concerns us and affects our environment becomes clearer and we too can become more skilled. When crafting our courses for our client, we know that the mind has a feature: it is not made up of matter. It is in the field of possibilities and the mind – as Einstein stated about the entire Universe – exists simultaneously in the past, in the present and in the future.
Our conscious experience is the sum of these three components, which interact in the brain of each of us. That is why our approach and our courses are designed to allow you to access the immense filed of possible results that your whole being, your mind and your consciousness are ready to access and manifest.

Introduction to the EpiCoaching Model

We designed our Epi Coaching Model in alignment with the new ICF Core Competency model. We have been inspired by the Greek prefix epi- which in epigenetics implies features that are “on top of” or “above” the traditional genetic basis for inheritance. And most of all we have been inspired by the fact that epigenetics is called the ‘Science of Change’. Professional coaches are change agents and they deal with change and transformation, to partner with clients in their journey to a new present.

E-nviroment

We create us and we create the world where we live, our beliefs shape our environment, our experiences and our system. We are constantly influenced by them and we influence them.

P-otential

when we listen to our ageless wisdom we can connect with an immense transformational power that lies within us. Then we can consciously impact on the world around us.

I-ndividual

We are un-divided, we are whole, we have everything we need to thrive. We only need to look within in order to trust who we are, align with our values and generate awareness and change.

How EpiCoaching Model works

STEP 1: SELF REFLECTION & ACTIVE LISTENING

We know that when we promote and support self-reflection (both in the coach and in the client) we can actively listen to our inner wisdom and we can connect with the best unique answers to our questions. ICF has created a Core Competency Model where the practice of self-reflection for a professional coach is the way to embody a coaching mindset, not only during a coaching session, but as a professional.

STEP 2: TRUST, PRESENCE & POTENTIAL

By connecting to our inner wisdom, we can evoke trust in the coaching process and self-trust in who we are (as coaches and as clients). As a consequence of this process, we can be present to our life and we can release our infinite potential. The opening of a portal of energy occurs, which brings to new ways of looking at life, of looking at ourselves and of choosing among possibilities.

STEP 3: AWARENESS, PARTNERING & ALIGNMENT

As a consequence of this process we can choose with more awareness, we can consciously integrate the new learning in our behaviours and we can align with our life to our essence and our values. The ICF Core Competency Model is grounded on the concept of the coach who partners with clients. In the EpiCoaching Model, partnering can be intended not only about the coach and the clients, but also to all individuals who are able to partner with their inner self, their essence, their high wisdom. This process leads to the generation of new thoughts, new actions and new behaviours that become more and more aligned with our new emerging Self.

STEP 4: BEHAVIOUR, INDIVIDUAL & ENVIRONMENT

The Epi Coaching cycle reflects our life, where an ongoing process of self-reflection, awareness and new actions lead us to focused puposeful results. Each individual, each client, each coach influences the world around (the environment) and the world around us play an important role in who we want to become. Our behaviour is the result of our values, beliefs and thoughts and it impacts on the environment. The more awareness we develop about who we are, the more aware we are of the impact we can have in the world around us.

STEP 5: SYSTEMIC & HOLISTIC

The coaching approach that we promote is therefore a systemic one, that includes all the parts involved. It expands to the environment and it embrace an holistic perspective. The cycle is whole and One as we are all connected. The more we become aware of this, the more we can be in charge of our choices and our life.

The Impact of EpiCoaching Model

We know that reality is the result of a transformation that passes through us and that tells about us, about who we are intimately, and what we can leave to others in terms of value, service and inspiration. At EpiCoaching Academy we know that each of us creates reality based on who s/he is. By crafting our courses for our clients, we know that the mind has a feature: it is not made up of matter. It is in the field of possibilities and the mind – as Einstein stated about the entire Universe – exists simultaneously in the past, in the present and in the future. Our conscious experience is the sum of these three components, which interacts in the brain of each of us. That is why our approach and our courses are designed to allow you to access the immense field of possible outcomes that your whole being, your mind and your consciousness are ready to access and manifest.

The value of silence in coaching

In our modern society, verbal communication has clearly prevailed over the dimension of listening to oneself and others, and vital space for other means of communication has been taken away from our lives. Sensory communication in fact provides a wide range of means available to the individual in order to  communicate with others: a communication
